If IGDA Central could advocate on ONE topic that would most help you as a member of the game industry, what would it be?

Just pick one thing, it could be anything, get creative.

Voting. I know the Video Game Voters Network does a lot, but I'm not sure how many people are aware of their elected officials stance on video games.

I feel like it's very important to keep Central focused on industry-wide global issues rather than something regional. Maybe this is something that the chapters could work on more locally?
We've actually done a lot of local focus with that before, e.g. the IGDA Chicago chapter was central in helping fight the local video game sales bills trying to be passed and appealed. We did almost all of the work as we had all the local connection and interest and it was coordinated in conjunction with IGDA Central and VGVN. Maybe this is a good avenue for a collaboration?

Recognition.

For work that the other awards don't recognize:

- Great works of game criticism and journalism
- Good studio practice

And internal awards:
- SIG of the year
- Outstanding events or programs

Awards set good examples, and I find them motivating.
